Allow
doit list "hel*"to select matching task names using the same*/fnmatch rules asrun. Preserve literal-name errors, private-task filtering, sorting and subtask expansion; avoid duplicate output when patterns or explicit names overlap. Document quoting and no-match behavior.Closes #429.
Validation on CPython 3.13.12: four new regression methods fail on the original implementation, then all 21 list tests pass. The full
rut -vvsuite passes (835 tests), along withdoit pyflakes, doit codestyle, git diff --checkand a complete Sphinx HTML build with warnings treated as errors. Real CLI checks cover matching, no matches, overlapping selections and an unknown literal task. Independent fixed-SHA Standards and Spec reviews report no findings.Other Python versions/platforms, Hunspell and hosted CI were not verified. Initial local check commands needed the development venv on PATH and the checkout on PYTHONPATH; corrected commands pass.
