This repository contains MongoDB packaging artifacts used by Canonical, including snaps and rocks for MongoDB server deployments.

Getting started

This repository contains packaging artifacts for MongoDB in both Snap and Rock formats. To work on an artifact, clone the repository and change into the appropriate subdirectory. Each artifact includes its own README.md and CONTRIBUTING.md with build and usage instructions.

Snaps (example):

git clone https://github.com/canonical/mongodb-artifacts.git
cd mongodb-artifacts/mongodb/snaps/slim/<snap-name>
snapcraft pack

Rocks (example):

git clone https://github.com/canonical/mongodb-artifacts.git
cd mongodb-artifacts/mongodb/rocks/slim/<rock-name>
rockcraft pack

Scripts

There are some scripts available in scripts/ The only script currently is set-version.sh

Usage: bash scripts/set-version.sh X.Y.Z-W

This will update all the charms and rocks .version field to the provided version.
