A proper GNOME implementation #434

Closed as not planned

Description

The standalone version sucks because filtering touchpads events at evdev level is impossible to do properly. Turns out it's possible to load the InputActions core library into gnome-shell using GObject Introspection and communicate with it using a GNOME extension, so new implementation coming soon.

Or maybe not coming at all, I was planning to write everything in C++, but it turns out I can't include the majority of GNOME's headers without the compiler complaining about enum forward declarations and extern "C" doesn't fix it.
