Description

@gabrielkmbo

Class-fork tracking issue for warpdotdev#11899, which is labeled ready-to-implement and is item 8 on the Stanford starter list.

Reproduced on Stanford commit 24e80bea838421cb6523cd22423e05ea3862291b, macOS 26.6.2 arm64:

  1. Open a Python file in a standalone folder in the built-in editor.
  2. Enable Pyright for that folder.
  3. Open Settings → Code → Indexing and projects.
  4. Disable the server.

The folder remains under “Initialized / indexed folders” with “No index created” and “Not running.” There is no removal action.

Expected: remove an LSP-only folder from this list, stop its servers, and clear its saved registrations. The entry should remain absent after restart; files and other project data should be preserved.

A fix has been implemented and locally validated, including the real Pyright process, restart behavior, automated regression tests, Clippy, and the executable build. The associated PR contains the details and before/after screenshots.
