Hi, Thank you I love what you're doing!! |

Hi, a solution is to combine the different template repositories before sending them to Portainer |
|
Is this still not added? |
|
I feel like this would be such a simple QOL change, I can't believe this was requested 5.5 yrs ago and still..... nothing |
|
I wrote a Python script to merge multiple JSON files with templates into one without duplicates, feel free to use it |
|
I made a tampermonkey script to save previously entered urls in a dropdown selector in the template url field. So at least now you can select from a set of frequently used urls instead of having to enter them each separately. Combining them is maybe not practical because of the different template version formatting and debug tracing issues (mentioned some of this above). |

Uh oh!

For the case in which I'd like to retain the default templates provided, and add some of my own as well, without forking your list, I'd love a solution where a user could provide an array of templates, instead of just the single string.
This would allow them to function like Ubuntu's PPAs, where you can install from any number of repos, and add repos for 3rd parties as well.
This way, I could retain a core set of apps, then provide a business and personal repo as well, with specific apps for each environment.
This could be implemented (at least on the frontend) with a text box replacing the input.
