This seems to be a bug, as the skip update should survive a restart of HA. Please create an issue report in the HA core repository and add as much information about your setup, the used integration, screenshots and so on this report. thx 👍 |

Dug into this. Two things forget a skip: the update entity drops it on purpose once a newer version is offered, and it is lost when the entity is unavailable while Home Assistant saves its state, because the skip only lives in the state attributes. The second one fits "after updating Home Assistant". I'll look at storing the skipped version separately so it survives that. ../Frenck Blogging my personal ramblings at frenck.dev |

Describe the feature
After updating Home Assistant, I would like Home Assistant to remember the updates I decided to skip in the update menu.
Use cases
I have some WiFi access points that got an update known for potentially bricking the access point. So I want to avoid updating those. Unfortunately it has been unsolved for a few month.
Current workarounds
Currently after every Home Assistant update, I need to reskip all the unwanted updates.
